Cleaning and Validation of Laboratory Glassware

Cleanliness of laboratory glassware before use is of utmost importance. Analysis results can be communicated with any degree of confidence only if the glassware used is free from contamination from previous analysis.

Advanced analytical techniques save time through automation of procedures and also provide better reliability of results through minimization of personal errors. However , if glassware used in sample collection ,storage and analysis is not contamination free then even highly sophisticated instruments can generate only dubious results .It is equally important to validate the cleanliness before putting such glassware to use.
