General Chemical Analysis

Program planned for launch in year 2015

A sound knowledge of chemical analysis is a basic necessity for the analytical scientist. Traditional techniques to this day still form the backbone of most undergraduate level education laboratories though instrumental techniques are fast replacing them due to advantage of increased speed and accuracy. The earliest techniques were by and large gravimeter and used for studies on elemental composition of materials. Subsequently nitration methods contributed to acid – base and other quantitative estimations in both aqueous and non-aqueous media. Knowledge of traditional chemical analysis will contribute to a better understanding of modern instrumental techniques which is today’s demand in all laboratories.

The program will be beneficial for:

  • R & D scientists
  • Q A and QC managers
  • Laboratory chemists
  • Environmental scientists
  • Forensic scientists
  • Academic teaching and research persons
  • Manufacturing chemists
